The winners of this year’s ERT Awards were announced earlier this month at the prestigious ceremony at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London, celebrating the best and brightest from across the electrical retail sector.

The event was brilliantly hosted by actor and performer, Shaun Williamson, who kept the audience prize draw, hosted by TRIC Chairman, Daniel Todaro. Ireland-based Donaghy Brothers picked up the
coveted Turning Point Award as well as the trophy for Best Independent Domestic Appliances Retailer – Large, while Best Independent Kitchen Retailer Showroom was awarded to Vama Living and Coopers Home Appliances won the Best Independent Electrical Retailer Shopfront. The Sales Excellence Award went to Chris
Jones from Wellingtons Electrical; the judges were impressed with Chris’s customer reviews and his product knowledge and expertise.

On the supplier side, Best Supplier Customer Service went to Bluestem Group and the trophy for Best Industry Distributor was handed to Domestic Appliance Distributors – for the second year in a row! Then, at the end of the awards ceremony, The Special
Recognition Award, which returned as a one-off for the 2023 event, was handed to John Reddington. Editor of ERT magazine, Jack Cheeseman, said: “Massive congratulations to all of this year’s winners! It’s all about celebrating some of the most forward-thinking businesses and individuals in our sector and recognising some of the best products in our sector too.
