The ERT Awards is back for 2021! Once again we’ll be bringing together retailers and suppliers to recognise excellence across the electrical retail industry. During these difficult and unprecedented

times, it is vital that we take a moment to reflect on the positive. And now is the time to join together and get involved. Returning to the Grand Connaught

Rooms in London’s Covent Garden this October, Turning Point Live! will be back again to shine a light on best practice in

the electrical retail sector. The prestigious ERT Awards will take place in the afternoon after a drinks reception and networking lunch. Entries are now open for this year’s ERT

Awards – so get writing and tell us why your store or your product should win! Read our tips for a top entry on page 17.

This year’s categories are… For retailers: • Best Independent Domestic Appliance Retailer – Small

• Best Independent Domestic Appliances Retailer – Large

• Best Independent Consumer Electronics Retailer – Small

• Best Independent Consumer Electronics Retailer – Large

• Best Independent Electrical Retailer Website

• Sales Excellence Award • Turning Point Award

How do I enter? You can enter online in three simple steps. Simply head to the ERT Awards website: Follow the ‘CLICK HERE’ button on the home page, select your category (or you can select multiple categories at the time of entering), then supply your supporting information and media, and add your contact details. For retailers – it’s important you write

a great entry statement and provide any additional relevant information, such as your background, about your business and shopfloor, your digital platforms, your staff or your customer service. All this goes in front of our expert judging panel for consideration, so make it hard-hitting and concise! For manufacturers – it’s the retailers

that will decide which products and services win, so provide as much information as you can. There’s plenty of help and advice, and

more detailed information on the judging criteria for each of the award categories, on the ERT Awards website: The retailer entries go in front of the

judges, while the manufacturer categories are voted for by retailers using a dedicated online platform. By surveying the responses of ERT readers in this way, we will be able to get a definitive answer on who the best suppliers are, which new products have caught their imagination and which sales reps are really going the extra mile. All the winners will be announced in

London later this year – date to be confirmed soon! Keep an eye on the ERT website – – and ERT’s Twitter – @ERTonline – for all the latest updates. If you have any questions, send an email

to or you can get in touch with ERT Editor, Jack Cheeseman, via
