ADDING TO OUR PRODUCT LINE THROUGH ARC PACIFIC
Belvac welcomed ARC Pacific, a leading global supplier of environmentally conscious Can Washers, Dry-off, Pin, and Internal Bake Ovens in August 2023. This acquisition expanded the product portfolio by bringing essential industry knowledge in-house to better serve global clientele. ARC Pacific distinguished itself in the industry through its innovative Oven and Washing technologies with distinctive manufacturing capabilities and energy-efficient platforms aimed at reducing CO2 emissions and mitigating pollutants. In addition to sustainable machinery, ARC Pacific offers Kits and Upgrades for existing Ovens and Washers, enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
CONSTANTLY INNOVATING FOR EFFICIENCY
Belvac remains committed to providing customers with cutting-edge, sustainable solutions aimed at producing the highest- level quality of product while aligning with market trends. In 2023, Belvac unveiled several groundbreaking innovations helping demonstrate this commitment. In May at Metpack, Belvac introduced
the latest model of Necker, the Servo Belvac Necker. Continuously operating up to 3,600cpm, it utilises advanced servo motor control, allowing for every turret to be rotationally independent. The Servo Belvac Necker uses up to 15% less electrical consumption compared to the standard motor and gearbox configuration on a traditional Necker. The independent rotation is ideal for quickly resolving can jam situations, facilitating faster resetting and synchronization, which in turn increases efficiency. Belvac enhanced the capabilities of our
Bottle Can Manufacturing System to produce an integrated Carrier Ring on aluminium D&I bottles. This innovation involves a proprietary collapsing process that forms an integrated transport ring, similar to PET bottles. By employing the same transport system as PET

bottles, Belvac’s Carrier Ring Bottle enables brands to run PET or aluminum D&I Bottles on existing bottling lines. This initiative aims to offer brands an eco-friendly, cost-effective packaging alternative as a direct replacement for PET bottles. By encouraging the adoption of aluminium D&I cans and bottles, the most sustainable packaging solutions, Belvac contributes to reducing plastic pollution in oceans and preserving the environment for future generations. Belvac has also developed a Kits and
Upgrades program for all Rutherford-style Decorators, targeting critical assemblies to reduce machine downtime, spoilage, and energy consumption while optimizing print results for enhanced efficiency. This program focuses on key assemblies such as the Infeed, Spindle Disk, Vacuum and Air Drum, Printing Sleeves, Over Varnish Unit, and the Transfer Disk, enhancing the longevity and efficiency of your Decorator. Belvac also plans to introduce an Inker Rebuild programme in the Brazilian market while offering inker rebuild and maintenance kits to the broader global market.
