BOSCH EASYCONTROL: When paired with Bosch Smart Radiator Thermostats (or Smart TRVs), the Bosch EasyControl can split rooms, such as the kitchen and living room, into separate “zones”, all of which can be heated individually via the Bosch EasyControl app. EasyControl not only meets the time and temperature requirements outlined in the Boiler Plus standard, it also meets three of the four additional energy-saving measures listed, one of
which must be chosen in order to comply with the new legislation and the Building Regulations. It also offers a 5% uplift in efficiency, as per the Energy-related Products (ErP) Directive, when paired with three or more Smart TRVs - resulting in a system package label efficiency when combined with a gas fired combi boiler, such as a Greenstar i, of 99%.
The GRANT AERONA³ air source heat pump range is expanding
with the launch of a new 12kW model which incorporates R32 refrigerant, making it Grant’s greenest heat pump yet. The Aerona³ 12kW R32 inverter driven air source heat pump uses the more environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant which makes for a cleaner heat pump. Currently available as 12kW output, additional outputs in the Aerona³ R32 range will be launched at a later date.

POTTERTON Commercial’s new Sirius three range offers compact power across its 15 wall-hung and floor-standing appliances, offering outputs of 50-250kW and up to 1MW in cascade. The floor standing models have been designed to pass through 700mm doorways, making them easier to position when space is at a premium. The larger outputs also have castors on the bottom for greater manoeuvrability. To maximise space in even the smallest of plant rooms the 110kW, 130kW and 150kW models occupy the same compact footprint as the 90kW model.
Accompanied by a portfolio of cascade accessories including low loss headers and plate to plate heat exchangers, which can effortlessly be attached to each boiler; they are also supplied with boiler case extension panels which conceal the pipework for a professional finish. All boilers in the range offer a seasonal efficiency of greater than 96% and modulation ratio of up to 9:1. Legislative requirements are also covered, with NOx emissions as low as 24.7mg/kW, thanks to the Sermeta bluejet burners.
The wall-hung range is available in outputs of 50, 60, 70, 90, 110, 130 and 150 kW and floor-standing models, 50, 70, 90, 110, 130, 150, 200 and 250 kW.
MAIN HEATING, part of UK boiler manufacturer Baxi Heating, has launched the Main Eco Compact range.
The range has been designed in response to national research carried out by Baxi, which identified a demand for more modern, compact boilers that are compatible with the latest smart control technology, including Baxi’s own uSense control.
All boilers are lightweight and have a compact design, making them easy for installers to handle and fit into small spaces. A choice of flue lengths, bends and accessories means that siting the boilers is easy too. The range uses the right amount of fuel to meet set central heating requirements, saving the homeowner money on energy bills. An equally useful feature for
installers is that the range offers front access to all components for quick, simple servicing and maintenance.
Available in 25 and 30kW outputs, while the System range includes 15 and 18kW options.
GRANT UK’s Grant Solo fan convector range, consists of three models, the wall-mounted Solo Compact and Solo CompactMAX and the space saving plinth heater, the Solo Hideaway. The units are also ideally suited to complement low temperature systems including heat pumps such as the Grant Aerona³. Solo fan convectors have a low water content and sophisticated temperature control, so they deliver the precise amount of heat when and where it is needed. The Solo Hideaway model is a plinth version whereby the fan convector can be located out of sight. Ideal for kitchen and bedroom spaces, it can be positioned under workspace units and does not require any wall space.

VIESSMANN is adding a domestic oil boiler to its product
range.The Vitorondens 200-T floor-standing oil-condensing boiler features Viessmann’s bespoke two-stage Vitoflame blue flame condensing oil technology and is future-proofed against tightening OFTEC laws on NOx emissions that came into force this September. The cast iron Vitorondens 200-T has outputs ranging from 20.2 to 107.3 kW. The boiler features Viessmann’s Eutectoplex heating surface, which guarantees high operational reliability and a long service life. The downstream Inox-Radial stainless steel heat exchanger separates combustion and condensation. Energy efficiency is A-rated, with standard seasonal energy efficiency (to DIN) up to 97% gross and 103% net.
