We span most of Western Europe, the UK, Scandinavia and France... we are ready to supply the highest quality high performance insulation to the UK market.

“Our aim is to develop

Alconbury was a hub of activity during WW2 and the Cold war, originally run by the American Air Force. It features a Cold War bunker where cameras from British spy planes were taken and developed. A concrete structure, sheathed in grass with steel doors that were no less than ten inches thick, that was built to withstand a direct hit from a nuclear attack.

Now the site is being put to multiple uses, with a few thousand new homes being built alongside businesses and the new HQ of the local council.

IKO’s factory is one of the largest on the site, with the opportunity to expand even further once the company achieves its target of working two shifts in a week, allowing maximum production and employing more local people. Meanwhile the target is to be a zero- landfill site.
