Paint brand Benjamin Moore UK has seen sales increasing as householders choose more and more to update their surroundings, says UK director Helen Shaw. “As we continue to look for ways to bring some cheer into the home, customers have been reaching for their paint brushes and toolboxes. In January, we saw a 56% year on year uplift in paint sales, with an evident spike in midtone shades, such as Aegean Teal 2136-40.” Benjamin Moore’ Colour of the Year, Aegean Teal 2136-40 is a blue-green blend with an earthy quality, bridging the gap between warm and cool shades. BRADITE LAUNCHES ONE CAN MATT
Bradite has released a Matt version of the water-based all-in-one primer and finish paint One Can. Offering the same full adhesion, anti-corro- sive and stain-blocking qualities as its eggshell cousin, One Can Matt has been formulated using the same technology but now offers a flat, matt finish for both internal and external use offering improved faster drying, application and durability. The paint combines a primer, undercoat and topcoat in one tin and can be used as any one of these or all three. It is water-based, there- fore has no smell, is stain locking and will help hide a wide range of blemishes including water, nicotine, rust or resin bleed.
