BMF Branch Management Workshop returns to inspire the next generation of branch leaders

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) is preparing for the return of its much-anticipated Branch Management Workshop, which will be held over two days in Coventry on 17–18 March 2026.

Designed exclusively for merchant members, this event is tailored to support Branch Managers, and those aspiring to take on the role, in leading more effectively and driving branch performance across all areas of operation.

With a packed agenda over two days, the workshop promises a dynamic mix of strategic insight, leadership development, and practical sessions, all designed to help the attendees refine their skills and return to their teams with fresh ideas and renewed energy.

The event will be hosted by Kevin Parr, an accomplished communicator and leadership specialist renowned for his work in high-performance environments. Kevin will facilitate sessions throughout both days, ensuring delegates gain maximum

value from the workshop’s diverse programme.

Day One opens with an overview of BMF’s Strategy and Core Values from John Newcomb, followed by sessions exploring leadership styles, communication and visibility in management. Highlights include talks from Kat Dancey on “The Communication Leader,” and insights into modern leadership from Chris Fisher (ECI Software) on AI and Rachel Constable (MKM Building Supplies) on sustainability. Consistent standards and simple, practical advice are essential to preventing these incidents.
