1. A I M’s new website and technical guides Fire, acoustic and thermal insulation specialist Acoustics & Insulation Manufacturing (AIM) has published a new set of technical product literature, which is accessible via a brand-new website.


Information at www.aimlimited.co.uk is organised by product attributes - fire stopping, thermal and acoustic, and by applications, including cladding, roofing, interiors and traditional building. There is also a simple product list option.


AIM’s set of 16 new technical product guides and eight new installation guides are all online. Covering product composition, application and performance, the guides have updated detailed drawings of applications and installation guides where necessary. Fire barrier and acoustic product guides include new performance data reflecting tests to the latest EN standards. The guides can be found via the product pages or on a simple downloads page.

3. Duradrain drives-thru


Dura Products has seen the installation of its pioneering kerbside drainage product Duradrain at the UK’s largest drive-thru of Canadian donut chain Tim Hortons, in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester.


Duradrain, comprised of 70% recycled material in every 500mm unit, provides an efficient and safe method of draining highways, car parks and other structures with a kerb edge while being extremely environmentally friendly. 5. Introducing Pinnacle8 frameless Kudos Showers is introducing frameless, low level access, additions to its Pinnacle8 Shower enclosure collection.


These new additions come 2000mm in height and with 8mm toughened safety glass throughout. They are available in the same sizes as the current range with quadrants ranging in size from 900x900mm up to 1200x900mm and the hinged models from 800-1200mm door sizes and 700-1200mm side panels.
