Building products manufacturer Forterra has raised a grand total of £16,283 in funds and donated almost £3,000 in products this year for homelessness construction projects in partnership with CRASH Charity, of which Forterra has been an industry Patron for the past two years.
CRASH is the construction industry’s charity that helps homelessness charities and
hospices with their construction projects – creating places that care for people when they are at their most vulnerable.

ET Clay raises anniversary money for Macmillan
ET Clay Products Ltd, a brick supply company based in South Ockendon, Essex, has raised over £35,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support in celebration of their 25th anniversary.
Eddie Turze, managing director said: “The care and support Macmillan provides to people living with cancer and their
families is amazing, so it was an easy decision for us to support them in our anniversary year.”. The company took on a range of fundraising activities including an epic Birmingham to Essex cycle challenge, sponsored walks, held coffee mornings and even asked suppliers/customers to contribute to their fundraising goal.
The team managed to smash their original target of £25,000 and have raised over £35,000 throughout the year.

The expert BMI Specification Team provided a structural condition report and advised on the best way to restore the heritage roof. For the two flat areas – one over the entrance, another over the live-in staff accommodation at the back of the building – BMI not only supplied the materials, but also installed it with the expertise of its site technical team, which included technical trainer (flat roofing) Tony Brooks and area technical manager Paul Seel.

West Cornwall Women’s Aid has been voted as the latest recipient of RGB Building Supplies’ Well Built Community Fund and now has £1,000 to spend at an RGB branch.
West Cornwall Women’s Aid supports women and children who have fled their homes due to domestic violence and has helped many women safely rebuild their lives. The charity also provides
support to women and children living in West Cornwall through their Community Services Project, which
Reisser relic rewarded Reisser was delighted to present a loyal customer with
brand new equipment on Monday, following a recent picture posted on Instagram which caught the brand’s attention.
The image, depicting an extremely worn out and battered-looking Reisser Steel screw Case, was captioned by its owner Kevin Sharkey as having been on every job he’d ever done since he originally rescued the case from a skip over a decade ago.
Touched by the sentiment of Kevin’s post, the Reisser UK team contacted its office in Ireland who sent
