BRETT CELEBRATES 110 YEARS WITH CUSTOMER CHARITY DONATIONS
To celebrate its 110th aniversary, Brett Landscaping supported a local charity and helped some of its merchant customers to support charity projects of their own.
A
s part of its110th anniversary celebrations, Brett Landscaping chose to
help the Rainbows Hospice for children and young people in Loughborough.
The hospice needed help with its Eco Garden which had become overgrown and prone to water gathering. Brett staff volunteered their time and joined other local businesses to get the work done. The final result was spectacular to look at but, more importantly, they renovated the garden by installing wheelchair-friendly paving. Brett Approved Installer, David Greaves Landscape Design & Construction did the installation; stockist William Hercocks Ltd donated building sand and cement; P&R Building Supplies donated sharp sand and Wincanton plc delivered products to the site. Brett Landscaping donated natural stone and block paving and made a £3,300 donation to Rainbows Hospice.
As well as help for Rainbows, Brett celebrated its anniversary with a ‘thank-you’ to the stockists who have supported them over the years. Merchants entered a competition to win £110 for a
community project of their choice. Brett donated a prize for each English region and the winning merchant partners donated their prizes to a variety of causes close to their hearts.
The winners and their chosen charities are: North – JT Dove (Newcastle), Children’s Heart Unit Fund East Anglia – BSG Buildbase (Rochford), Havens Hospice Home Counties – Days Buildbase (Portsmouth), Cancer Research UK
East Midlands – William Hercocks (Melton Mowbray), Nottingham University Hospitals South West – County Town Aggregates (Piddlehinton), Piddle Valley Parish Council BMJ
