Marsh reduces vibration and noise

Marsh Industries has launched a unique product for a worldwide problem in the water and wastewater treatment sectors, ‘Whisspurr’, an innovative acoustic vibration reduction unit that significantly reduces noise and vibration caused by diaphragm compressors. Designed to fit inline between the compressor and air diffuser, the Whisspurr dampens the high frequency pitch and absorbs sound and vibration generated from the compressor whilst enabling a consistent, unrestricted flow to the air diffuser – the Whisspurr does not restrict air pressure from the

ground-breaking ECOSE® Technology – the unique bio-based binder- reached its 10 anniversary in 2019. Used in the manufacture of all of its glass and rock mineral wool to bind the

individual strands of insulation together, Knauf Insulation’s ECOSE® Technology contains no added formaldehyde or phenols, making it soft to touch and easy to handle, increasing the comfort of those handling it. Mineral Wool insulation manufactured with ECOSE® Technology generates very low levels of dust and low VOCs, earning the insulation Eurofins Gold Certificate for Indoor Air Comfort, which recognises best-in-class low VOC emission levels. ECOSE® Technology is made from natural raw materials that are rapidly renewable and is 70% less energy-intensive to manufacture than traditional chemical- based binders, so it is kinder to the environment too. All Knauf Insulation’s cured Glass Mineral Wool and most of its Rock Mineral Wool insulation is manufactured with ECOSE® Technology.
