10. Makita expands XGT range with its first cordless breaker Makita has added a new high- performance breaker to its range of 80VMax XGT machines.


Its HM004G delivers 72.8 joules of impact energy at a rate of 870 blows per minute (bpm) and it features Makita’s Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT), which reduces the vibrations transferred from the tool to the user. It is powered by two Makita 40VMax XGT batteries and in addition to breaking, chipping and channelling with


the 28.6mm hex chisel, it can also be used for trenching. Makita’s Auto- Start Wireless System (AWS) is also included. 12.Knauf sees the shoreline Shoreline, a residential development of 84 homes with panoramic views over Folkestone seafront, features an undulating white brick rainscreen façade that will sparkle in the sunlight. The Knauf Through Wall System from Knauf Insulation was used for the rainscreen façade.


The system is BBA certified, and comprises all the components needed for a high-performance façade build-up, including the Rocksilk® RainScreen Slab sheathing insulation and either OmniFit® Slab 35 or OmniFit® Roll 34 from Knauf Insulation, and the Plasterboard, Steel Framing System and Windliner from Knauf.
