AWARDS 2024 The BMJ Industry Awards 2024 voting is now closed, and the votes have been counted. Here’s what you need to know in the run-up to the event of the Autumn.

When and where is the Awards Lunch presentation?

The Gala Lunch presentation takes place on FRIDAY September 27th, starting at 12pm for drinks.

The venue is the Art-Deco splendour of the Grand Ballroom at the DeVere Grand Connaught Rooms, just off London’s Covent Garden.

I’m a sponsor: of the event: what do I do now?

Make sure you get the customers you want on your table by inviting them before someone else does.

Then look out for the email from our BMJ Events team, and let them know which customers or colleagues are coming and any dietary requirements.

Again, make sure you invite the customers and employees you want to be there, and let the BMJ Industry Awards Events team know in plenty of time.

Who is hosting the event? This year’s host is Mark Durden-Smith, a sport and lifestyle presenter, who proved so popular at the BMF Conference in Istanbul last year that the BMF is having him back again as the host for the 2025 event. Well-known to sports fans, Durdant-Smith has led ITV’s Premiership and World Cup rugby coverage, as well as anchoring their Boat Race broadcast. BMJ
