7. New on-trend panel designs from Fibo
Fibo UK has expanded its range of panel designs and colours. Nine all-new designs have been added and four further panels (sea blues and greys) that were previously only sold in Europe have also now been introduced to the UK. The introduction of the new designs coincides with a refresh of Fibo’s collections: Scandinavian Tile Effect (replacing Marcato), Contemporary Tile Effect (including previous Classic and Colour Splash ranges), Signature and Timeless. The new designs include four on-trend marble-effect panels in White, Silver Grey, Black and Golden Brown, available with and without grouting lines for a tile effect or a seamless panel wall. Grey Cement is a warm shade with a silk finish with grouting lines, while Soft Cement is a seamless panel with a slightly cooler tone. The new extra matt colours are Olive Green, Light Sand and Warm Grey, while London, Sea Breeze, Kingston and Svalbard are blues and greys that have sold well in Europe and have now been introduced to the UK. Both are available with and without grouting.

Snows Timber have gone into partnership with US company, AZEK Building Products, to introduce the TimberTech® capped composite decking brand to the Snows Timber range. Made with a mix of wood particles and recycled plastic, TimberTech is a product that looks like natural wood but is more sustainable, longer-lasting, and low- maintenance. The range will include a 4-sided capped composite, from the TimberTech PRO line of decking, which offers more protection than its 3-sided capped composite alternatives. Geocel improves sealant chemistry Geocel has changed the chemistry and improved the formulation of its expansion joint sealant, 201 one-part polymer sealant that comes ready to use in standard 380ml cartridges. The new formulation not only makes 201 easier to use than ever before with easier gunning and tooling, and faster tack and cure times, it also has an improved shelf life and better primerless adhesion. It retains all of the old 201’s overpaintability and hard-wearing properties and is highly UV resistant.

11. Imperial matches bricks for stunning restoration Imperial Bricks has supplied bricks for a new structure within an 18th century National Trust listed property. Quarry Bank Mill in Styal, Cheshire, was a complete industrial community built around a cotton mill in the Cheshire countryside. Its £9.4 million restoration and renovation took four years and is one of the biggest projects in the National Trust’s history. After careful matching by Imperial, 8,000 3” Reclamation Handmade bricks with a bespoke weathered finish were supplied.
