or those of us in the retail industry, we’re showing our resilience after 2020 feels like body blow after body blow from Tyson Fury. After the post-lockdown recovery here many
retailers in the housewares industry were beginning to make, the tightening of restrictions and the impending threat of a second lockdown will challenge many – particularly those who rely on footfall to survive. Add in the impending doom of that ‘oven ready’ Brexit deal, and we’re left with a year that is beyond satire. However, retailers are to be applauded for rolling up their sleeves despite everything thrown at them. This issue is dedicated to those housewares retailers who have been through the mill over these past few months and are attempting to come out the other side.
