FOOD PREPARATION
The range is not only an absolute must-have for people who love to cook and have a passion for design-led kitchenware, it attracts anyone looking for something unique and special. It is a true object of desire, successfully combining a dramatic and extravagant look with the soft curves of the robust matt black stainless-steel handle, frame, and blade, coated in functional PVD.
How will you continue to evolve the range? When developing our range, we strive to use our core competence - the photo-etching process - as much as possible to deliver new products of the highest quality. Think, for example, of our latest product – the bowl grater or our spice mill. Without our signature, ultra -sharp, photo-etched blades, the compelling functionality would be unthinkable. At the same time, we are also breaking new ground in design. A very good example of this is the
Masters Series where a stylish, sturdy frame meets elegant Kentucky walnut wood. The result is a series of graters that is second to none. Our classic, the zester grater, has just been launched last year in a completely new world of colours. The 11 new colours give this top seller even more style and expression. Or consider the Black Sheep series, which has just been introduced to the market and, by the way, has been very well received by retailers. For the first time, Microplane has released a grater series with PVD coating that is completely black from handle to blade. These not only look very stylish, but also inspire with their excellent functionality. Of course, we also look at food trends and at products that are perhaps not exactly innovative, such as a peeler, but we try to make those kitchen tools even better and more functional. Regardless of the application, the expectation is the same – to
provide reliable, best in class products by leveraging the most advanced blade technology to deliver outstanding quality products every time.
