ith the standard of entries growing year on year, picking the Housewares Innovation


Awards winners is a painstaking task; that's why we've made sure we have the very best in charge. The Housewares Innovation Awards have rallied together some of sector’s foremost figures to bring their unrivalled knowledge and passion for the industry to the table as they serve on this year's judging panels. Over the course of two days - one for retailer


entries and one for supplier entries - every single entry and nomination submitted will be rigorously reviewed against the set criteria, to ensure that only the very best takes home the coveted trophy in each category. This year's judging panel will see the return


of several familiar faces, who know the task of picking the winners all too well, alongside some first-timers who will bring a fresh perspective to the judging process. The retail judging panel will take place first


on Tuesday 6 November. They will be tasked with selecting Britain's Best in the following categories: Independent Department Store, Instore Demonstrations, Multiple Housewares Retailer, Online Retailer, Staff Training,

Wholesaler, Window Display, Retailer Service, Family Business, Housewares Retail Website, Housewares Salesperson and Independent Cookshop. This year's line-up of influential and


knowledgeable judges includes: Adam Smith, marketing manager at Eddingtons; Christian Dalton, UK country manager of Dutch Creative Brands; Darren Nickolls, UK Sales Director at Kitchen Craft; Dr Samir Attia, chairman of SMA, owners of Smart Worldwide; Geoff Hounslea, sales and marketing director at JWP Limited; Helen Simpson, marketing manager at KitchenAid; Linda Ayres, sales director at Katy Sue Designs; Rob Blackburn, director of sales and sourcing at David Mason Design; Rob Jones, sales director at Horwood Homewares; Sachin Bagga, brand director at Sabichi; Stephen Fennell, key account manager at Pyrex and Tom Basford, field sales manager for Meyer UK. Following this, a panel of key figures from leading retailers will gather on Thursday 8 November to review all of the creative entries in the following categories: Bakeware Innovation, Cookware Innovation, Food Preparation Innovation, Kitchenware
