Awards 2019

Monday February 4 2019 THE NATIONAL MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM, BIRMINGHAM

An opportunity to relish! Claire Budgen, marketing director of

KitchenCraft and Creative Tops – sponsoring the Britain’s Best Housewares Retail Website and Britain’s Best Multiple Housewares Retailer awards respectively – comments: “As we all come together at Spring Fair to view the latest in industry product development and discuss how to drive retail sales forward in the year ahead, it seems fitting that the Housewares Innovation Awards on the Monday evening forms a focal point to praise and acknowledge successes from the previous year.” Guests at the Awards will not only enjoy

high-profile awards presentations, but a unique opportunity to network with representatives from leading brands and foremost retailers. Tickets to the ceremony are now available to

purchase on the Housewares Innovation Awards website.

T

he entry process is underway for the 2019 edition of the Housewares Innovation Awards, and companies

from across the sector are busy perfecting their submissions to put themselves in with the best chance of winning a prestigious accolade. With an expanded range of categories, there

are even more opportunities to be recognised for innovative products, outstanding services and exceptional individual efforts. Following high demand from the industry,

the award for Britain’s Best Family Business has been introduced to highlight the UK’s leading family-run stores, whether they are an independent or chain of stores. In its inaugural year, the award will be sponsored by Harts of Stur – a fourth generation, family owned award-wining business based in the small market town of Sturminster Newton in Dorset. Philip Hart, managing director at Harts of

Stur, comments: “As a successful family company, we have an understanding of how special and unique family companies can be; something a company owned and run anonymously can never replicate, so recognising and honouring those companies is very important to us. “We have been fortunate enough to win a couple of these prestigious awards in the past, and it’s a humbling and exciting feeling and a great reward for all team members. Sponsoring this award is our way of giving something back to a fabulous industry as well as showing our continued commitment to the housewares sector.” Other accolades available for housewares
