Heating towards Net Zero
T
he commercial heating sector is working hard to adapt as it faces the challenge of Net Zero.
Rising costs, changing government policies and limits on current infrastructure all make progress difficult. Yet the industry remains committed to building a more sustainable future, while also making sure today’s heating systems are efficient and reliable. A key part of this progress is innovation, especially in the development of commercial boilers. New designs are delivering higher efficiency, smarter controls and flexibility for future low-carbon fuels. These advances show how manufacturers are finding practical ways to cut emissions without sacrificing performance. In this issue, our Commercial Boiler Supplement explores these technologies in more detail and showcases some of the key solutions available for commercial properties. Despite the obstacles, it is clear the industry is showing that it is ready to meet the challenge of decarbonisation and create a cleaner, more sustainable future. Also featured this month are AHUs
(Pg12), UFH (Pg16), Energy Efficiency (Pg 28) and an HVR Awards preview (opposite).
