Awards champion HVAC

T

he HVR Awards 2022 was back to a live format at the end of last month and it was good to be able to meet

key industry figures face to face again. Celebrating the best of the best across

the HVAC sector, trophies were presented to companies and individuals who have stood out over the past year. (see right) With the challenges of Net Zero and clean air at the top of the industry’s agenda, it was a pleasure to be able to reward achievements in the quest to meet these goals. Whether it be product development, initiatives, partnerships or individual performance, it is clear the HVAC sector is taking seriously the role it must play in what lies ahead. The energy challenge is very real for businesses and households and it is our industry’s solutions that will make the difference in years to come. As well as those showcased at the HVR

Awards, as usual HVR highlights products and solutions designed to help business chart this troubled period. In particular, the Heat Pump Supplement (pg19) offers the latest news, solutions and advice on the heat pump industry. Other features in this issue include, Sustainability, Ductwork and Water Treatment.

Cutting-edge heat & vent H

oval has launched a new range of TopVent decentralised roof

ventilation units, designed to meet the needs of modern logistics operations, production halls and retail ‘sheds’. Building on the popularity of the tried-and- tested TopVent units, this new range is especially suitable for

applications where undisturbed operation within the building is of paramount importance. To that end, the new units

are installed completely from the roof onto prefabricated roof sockets and prepared roof ducts. This means that the only work required in the building is hydraulic and electrical

connections. All serviceable components can also be accessed from the roof, so regular maintenance and service work can be carried out without disturbing activities below. www.hoval.co.uk
