Smith Brothers Stores has now released its very first refrigeration and air conditioning ancillary brochure. The literature contains a wealth of information about the range which is available, in addition to features, benefits, and related products which will make supporting your air conditioning project easier than ever. You will be able to find the brochure at your local SBS trade counter, acquiring a copy by asking your local sales representative. Alternatively, the brochure is available to view online in a PDF format via the company website.

CIAT has launched its Hydrociat water-cooled chillers and heat pumps, in 31 models from 270 to 1750 kW with two performance levels. The Hydrociat LW ST standard version offers a balance between capacity and operation costs. The Hydrociat LW HE high efficiency version provides premium efficiency and optimal operating management. The range boasts high energy efficiency due to a twin-rotor screw compressor with continuous capacity control; a flooded shell and tubes evaporator with grooved copper pipe bundle; an electronic expansion valve optimising the supply of refrigerant; and an economiser system. Its hydraulic connections can be attached to pipes already in place. Operating continuously, it allows chilled water production between -12°C-20°C, and hot water temperature production up to 63°C.

Swegon Hire market investment proves lucrative I
t was back in 2013 that Swedish-owned company Swegon took over cooling hire specialist Chillers4Hire, as part of its acquisition of the Coolmation Group. Four years later, and having recognised the opportunities available in the HVAC hire market, Swegon has continued to invest heavily in its sales force and fleet of hire equipment. This investment, along with 30 years of hire market experience, has enabled Swegon to achieve a loyal and enviable client base, alongside increased repeat orders and booming new business. Swegon’s clients are found in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, construction, events and film, in addition to facilities management, healthcare and the NHS. Demonstrating its continued success and investment in the
hire sector, Swegon opened a new dedicated hire centre this year in Coalville, near Leicester. If that wasn’t enough, the business has also recently added
a new range of energy efficient electric, diesel and air-to-air heaters to its ever expanding portfolio of products. Stephen Busette, who is the head of hire at Swegon,
commented: “This is an incredibly exciting time for our hire division. “We work in a fast paced environment where not only is the
pressure to perform at its peak; it is also an environment where the customer needs assurance of a capable and dependable service, and that’s where we come in.” To find out more about Swegon’s hire division, call 0800 093 7929 or visit
