Wi-fi wins with domestic air con
residential property in Radlett has recently been refurbished with a new air conditioning system from Samsung. The customer was planning an extensive extension and renovation to his home and wanted a system to service seven rooms within his property. VAC Environmental Services Ltd, who have a team that specialise in air conditioning, led the project and undertook the installation of the systems within the property. The customer had expressed a preference for ceiling cassettes rather than wall mounted units and was also keen to have the centralised control system for his Samsung appliances.

VAC Environmental fitted 1-Way and 4-Way ceiling cassettes to a total of seven rooms within the property. Each internal unit was individually selected for the room, to ensure optimum performance and suitability for the space it would service.
Andy Clarke, project specialist at VAC Environmental Services said: “We find the Samsung units aesthetically pleasing and have been equally pleased with the performance. The WindFree range in particular, with the options it provides, has been incredibly popular and all of the clients we have installed Samsung systems for have been thrilled with the products." This is the first system to be installed in the UK that utilises the function of the advanced wi-fi capabilities of the air conditioning units to integrate them into a centralised wi-fi control system. Incorporating them into the Samsung Eco-system allows the customer to control everything from any smart device such as a mobile, tablet or the Samsung smart fridge all with the help of the Samsung SmartThings App. We have been fitting an increasing number of Samsung systems this year, particularly for residential properties and they have fast become our go to brand due to the wide range available and the excellent service we receive from our account manager at Samsung.”
