Six new hires strengthen Clivet’s team A


t the end of 2024, Clivet Group UK achieved the Fastest Growing Subsidiary Award


at the 3rd Edition General Manager’s Bootcamp in Milan. This milestone has prompted the company to expand its team to support its growth: Vas Ignat has become a Clivet after- sales engineer and brings hands-on experience in the HVAC industry, off ering unparalleled technical support to Clivet customers. With a varied background that includes chillers, he’s well-equipped to assist with spare parts and technical challenges. Mariska Neyt has been


appointed as internal sales manager. She joined the Clivet team after moving from South Africa to the UK in April 2024. With a strong background in Internal Sales across various industries, she is focused on achieving


customer satisfaction and building the Clivet name. Ross Loveridge is now the


area sales manager in South East, bringing extensive experience in renewables, having worked with technologies such as heat pumps, solar panels, and batteries. He aims to grow the Clivet brand within his region.


Jacson Kavumkal has become a pre- sales engineer. He holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree and has honed his skills as a design engineer in the HVAC sector. He is based in the UK and has worked in the UAE; he is focused on defi ning customer needs and providing support.


Dennis Buor-Karikari has also been appointed as a pre-sales engineer. He brings years of industry experience, particularly in the design and sizing of heat pumps. Buor-Karikari aims


Smith joins Kooltech K


ooltech has appointed Donna- Marie Smith as the strategic applied marketing manager.


With over 25 years of experience in HVACR, Smith joins from the PR and marketing agency HVAC Communications. She previously worked at LG Electronics as a B2B product marketing lead, as well as at Space Air and Daikin Europe. This is a new role within Kooltech


to strengthen further the applied heating team headed up by Scott Mason. Smith’s appointment refl ects Kooltech’s continued commitment to investing in its applied function and strengthening its go-to-market strategy for commercial heat pumps, a crucial technology for decarbonisation in the UK. As strategic marketing manager, Donna-Marie will develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns for Applied products and emphasise the key benefi ts of Kooltech Applied and K-con products.

Martello moves up at Carel C


arel has appointed Michele Martello as chief solution marketing offi cer. In this


role, he will defi ne the strategic priorities and objectives for Carel’s solutions in the HVAC, refrigeration, and services sectors. Leading a structure that will serve as the reference point for the solution marketing teams, Martello will continue to pursue the Group’s goal of fostering sustainable medium-to-long-term growth. He will be key in directing, managing, and coordinating corporate marketing activities to ensure a competitive global positioning of Carel solutions.


Martello holds a degree in


electronic engineering from the University of Padua. He began his career in 1998, working on the design of electronic instruments for the process industry. He joined Carel in 2004 as a product manager in the systems for humidity control business unit, later becoming climate business


unit manager and subsequently Group head of platforms, overseeing the entire lifecycle of Carel’s product ranges. From 2018 to 2021, he served as CEO of Recuperator S.p.A., a Carel Group company specialising in designing, producing, and marketing air-to- air heat exchangers. Since 2023, he has held the Group Chief IAQ Offi cer position within Carel’s IAQ global business unit, tasked with developing and supporting the Group’s growth plans for indoor air quality solutions.
