THE VENDIES

A night to remember

The vending and water industries gathered at Birmingham’s Forest of Arden Hotel for The Vendies 2018 where this year’s worthy winners were finally revealed.

The Vendies, organised by Datateam Business Media, recognises and rewards success, innovation and excellent service delivered by companies and individuals working within the vending and water industries. An independent judging panel incorporating experts from across

the water and vending industries chose the finalists who were then put to an industry vote. Guests were welcomed at a drinks reception before taking their

seats in a stunning hall where the hosts for the evening were Ryan Philpott and “Voice of the Balls” Alan Dedicoat. Kicking off proceedings, guests were required to vote for the Best

Product of the Year using the slips on their tables. This was the only award chosen on the night and it went to Burts Chips Jim Beam Original BBQ crisps. After dinner renowned Canadian comedian Sean Collins had the

dining hall in stitches before the awards presentation kicked off in earnest. To end the evening a charity raffle was held in aid of Alexander

Devine Children’s Hospice, with Luke Enticknap of Express Vending winning a £1,200 Trailfinders voucher to book tickets to Las Vegas or
