Smart Buildings Show conference programme


T


he conference programme for Smart Buildings Show 2025 has been announced.


Taking place at ExCeL London on 15-16 October, Smart Buildings Show gives visitors free access to the best speakers from across the sector. This year’s event will feature over 120 speakers across four separate theatres: Energy Management Theatre: Operational effi ciency and cost reduction have never been more important, making visibility into energy usage, and the ability to proactively manage energy, essential. The more you know about your energy, the better you can manage it.


Controls & Network Theatre: This theatre will look at the physical devices in smart buildings including building controls, energy effi ciency, BEMS, sensors, shading and lighting.


IT & Digital Infrastructure Theatre: Smart Infrastructure is the result of combining physical infrastructure with digital infrastructure, providing improved information to enable better decision making, faster and cheaper. Without a smart infrastructure there are no smart buildings.


Management & Proptech Theatre: This theatre will look at how a smart building is managed and operated, including facility management, workplace software, advanced security solutions, sector analysis and market information, system integration, data aggregation and analytics, and services management.


Smart Manufacturing Week shares brand refresh details

mart Manufacturing Week, taking place 3-4 June 2026 at NEC, Birmingham has shared details of its full brand refresh.


The new-look branding features new colours, a modern look, and an energy that refl ects the pace of change in advanced manufacturing and engineering. Also new for the 2026 event is ‘Fight Fest’, which is a display of


high-energy robotics and automation competitions, blending of sport, engineering and mechanical mayhem. New in-depth digital supplements, meanwhile, will off er comprehensive industry guides on AI, robotics and automation, maintenance and 3D printing.


Eight specialist stages will cover key topics in manufacturing and engineering, and an expanded Ambassador Programme off ers a network of industry champions, innovators and infl uential voices who shape the event experience and amplify its impact year-round. This programme strengthens connections between exhibitors and the wider community, opening doors to collaborations, partnerships and increased visibility across the sector.
