BG launches new Dual Row Circuit Protection
British General has announced the launch of its new BG Dual Row Circuit Protection.
E
xpanding on the BG Single Phase Circuit Protection range introduced earlier this year, the BG Dual Row Circuit Protection is designed for larger domestic and light commercial applications, bringing more choice and fl exibility to the range.
It is available in two size options, a 36 module and a 48 module, both of which come supplied with a 100A main switch as standard, delivering the same trusted performance and reliability that professionals have come to expect from all of BG’s products.
The improved Type 2 single module SPD eliminates the need for extra MCB protection, freeing up an additional circuit way, whilst the new MCB-style blanks, a rear clip-in cable protector, and an updated grommet strip contribute to a neater and more organised installation. With fl exibility and expansion in mind, the
BG Circuit Protection range is designed to make installations easier, and with readily available devices and accessories installers can easily upgrade or expand systems to accommodate solar energy integration and EV charging to ensure customers are ready for future demands. For improved and fl exible installation, four rows of enlarged oval knock-outs at the rear, complemented by additional versatile 40mm knock-outs on the sides, top, and bottom, provide maximum adaptability. A new DIN rail design off ers a stronger and more secure device engagement. The off set incomer, larger busbar cover, and updated label sheet provide a seamless installation experience for installers.
The BG Circuit Protection range is CE-approved and third-party certifi ed for reliability, backed by a10-year guarantee, with a UK-based technical support team available via phone or email.
