Vent-Axia expands production facilities in Dudley

Leading British ventilation manufacturer Vent-Axia has expanded its Dudley manufacturing centre, located on the Blackbrook Valley Industrial Estate, Narrowboat Way.

T

he expansion increases capacity to support the anticipated uptick in demand for low-carbon ventilation. This significant investment provides Vent-Axia with a dedicated factory for its commercial and industrial ventilation range, alongside new equipment, additional warehouse space and new members of staff, adding to its production team. These improvements will enhance production times and allow customers to benefit from shorter lead times.

As part of the expansion, Vent-Axia has increased production line capacity for its commercial and industrial ventilation products to meet increased demand for commercial products, including the multi-award-winning

designed to improve its customers’ experience, enabling orders to be fulfilled directly from stock for rapid delivery and project completion. With the Future Homes Standard on the horizon and an increase in the demand for low-carbon and zero-carbon buildings, energy-efficient commercial ventilation with heat recovery is in particular demand.

Sentinel Apex. Evofire: premium fire-rated downlights without compromise

Fire-rated glass technology probably isn’t something you’ve thought much about. But it’s the innovation at the heart of Evofire – Integral LED’s flagship downlight range.

B

y combining tempered borosilicate glass with precision-engineered steel, Evofire stops fire from passing through the ceiling while maintaining a slim, seamless look. That means no bulky canisters, no reliance on intumescent materials and complete confidence in 30-, 60- and 90-minute fire protection. The result is a downlight that balances aesthetics, reliability and protection – three qualities that define the Evofire ethos. Installers don’t need to compromise on style to deliver fire safety, and clients don’t need to choose between performance and appearance. Unlike chunky plastic accessories or thick aluminium bezels, Evofire’s powder-coated steel bezel is less than 1mm thick. This allows the downlight to blend

into the ceiling line almost invisibly, achieving a premium finish even in high-end residential or hospitality projects.

The Evofire range has been engineered for versatility, with bezel sizes including 110mm, 92mm, 85mm, 72mm, 64mm and 55mm and options for tilt, square, recessed and micro-bezel designs. Installers can pair Evofire 85 with a GU10 or 50mm module or select the Evofire Mini for GU11/MR11 lamps. Multiple finishes, including tiltable options, make it easy to match interior styles.

Crucially, Evofire is fully third-party certified for both standard timber and I-joist ceilings, with independent testing on every SKU. This assurance removes doubt at installation stage and ensures compliance with building regulations. And with

a seven-year warranty, wholesalers and installers alike can supply and fit Evofire with complete peace of mind.

Behind the range is Integral’s commitment to advancing its UK-patented fire-rated glass technology. For wholesalers, Evofire represents a premium product that is simple to stock and explain. For electricians, it delivers a fast, clean installation with lasting reliability. For end customers, it provides the reassurance of fire safety without sacrificing the look of their interiors. www.integral-led.com / sales@integral-led. com
