Join NICEIC at TechLive T
There are now less than two months to go until NICEIC TechLive, NICEIC’s in-person event.
he event connects certifi ed businesses with NICEIC experts and providing valuable continued professional development (CPD), helping attendees to meet their NICEIC scheme requirements.
Following overwhelming demand, NICEIC, the UK’s leading certifi cation and training body for the electrical industry, is delighted to introduce NICEIC TechLive, the in-person CPD event where its certifi ed businesses can meet and learn from NICEIC’s technical experts, network with other NICEIC-certifi ed businesses and hear from manufacturers on new products and services.
NICEIC TechLive will feature a wide range of practical and informative CPD sessions hosted by NICEIC experts, including technical director Paul Collins and learning and wellbeing manager Danny Mouskovias, as well as special guests from across the electrotechnical industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to curate their own event by selecting the most useful sessions for their business, delivered by recognised voices from across the industry. The 12 TechLive sessions will explore four broad themes and cover a variety of the latest industry trends as well as a live Technical Q&A. Attendees can download the TechLive app and register for their preferred sessions. This year’s themes are:

Core skills sessions off ering a thorough grounding in the essential competencies you need to thrive in an ever-changing industry, from electrotechnical fundamentals to solar PV systems and EV charging.
Regulatory updates:
Keep on top of the latest industry developments and ensure your business remains safe and compliant – we’ll be covering the MCS Scheme redevelopment, what’s next with Amendment 4, and what the Future Home Standards could mean for our certifi ed businesses.
Mental health and wellbeing Our mental wellbeing sessions will help you support your teams; to recognise signs of stress, identify concerns with team members, and open up supportive conversations.

The day will begin with an introduction and regulatory update from NICEIC’s technical director Paul Collins and the remainder of the programme is stacked with engaging and insightful sessions. From top tips for your next assessment, to an EICR coding clinic and EV charger installations there will be sessions to suit every business’s needs and provide you with the content and information you need. It is also an opportunity to rack up fi ve hours of CPD, helping you to meet your NICEIC scheme requirements.” There is just one NICEIC TechLive event taking place in 2025, with 250 places available. The event will take place at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedford on 22 October.

NICEIC
For almost 70 years, NICEIC has been the UK’s largest certifi cation body for electrical businesses, with over 40,000 currently certifi ed by the organisation. NICEIC assesses, certifi es and trains electricians, plumbers, renewable energy installers and gas and heating engineers.
