CP’s new PIR presence detector offers control for demanding application
Lewden offers bespoke power distribution
solutions Lewden has expertise in providing bespoke power distribution solutions, customised to suit customers’ requirements with full concept and product design, assembled by its experienced engineering team with exclusive consultation provided throughout the process. With short turnaround time, starting from concept to delivery, Lewden provides pre- finished solutions to reduce installation time on-site.
Part of the popular EBDHS range of increased performance PIR presence detectors, the new EBDHS-B-CB-DD (Direct Dim) has been developed for high bay lighting control in areas with demanding spaces and increased mounting heights. Utilising Casambi wireless technology, the EBDHS-B-CB-DD is responsive to the constant shift of an organisations lighting needs by being programmable and adjustable to produce an exceptionally accurate detection beam. The Casambi technology provides a mesh
network where all the intelligence of the system is replicated in every node, creating a system with no single point of failure. Any unit can go offline and catch up from others when they return back online. The EBDHS-B-CB-DD offers an advanced
detection range up to 40m at a 15m mounting height, with a maximum mounting height of up to 20m dependent on operating parameters. Its multi- pyro design offers greater sensitivity without false triggering, whilst the unique lens technology delivers high sensitivity within the detection range. Ideal for high bay installations in industrial and warehouse applications, this IP40 rated PIR detector provides daylight and occupancy sensing plus many other features and comes with adjustable masking shields to tailor detection zones.

Class 8 corrosion-resistance for Legrand’s
latest Cablofil range Offering long-term resistance and sustainability in the most corrosive environments, Legrand has introduced a new finish for its Cablofil steel wire cable tray range. The finish is a cost-effective alternative to hot dip galvanisation with the lengths being manufactured using a zinc aluminium (ZnAl) alloy. Delivering high performance in the most challenging of environments, the ZnAl finish, along with its zinc alloy accessories, achieves Class 8 performance, withstanding 850 hours in salt spray tests according to EN ISO 9227. The correct choice of steel must be selected for cable tray
that is to be used in a harsh, corrosive environment. Compliant with the criteria set out in ISO 9223, the ZnAl Cablofil range and associated accessories are suited to external and industrial environments where corrosion risk is high. Cablofil also has E90 fire resistance certification according to DIN 4101-12. The new range is available from 30mm to 105mm deep and from 50 to 600mm wide, supplied in
easy-to-handle three metre lengths, each one featuring the renowned Cablofil safety edge. The new zinc aluminium finish is a smoother and more aesthetically pleasing finish than traditional hot dip galvanised steel wire cable tray. Cablofil ZnAl delivers fast and simple installation with fewer components.
