Scolmore appoints three new ASMs to Click team S
colmore Group has announced the expansion of its Click sales team with the appointment of three new area sales managers as part of its continued growth strategy and commitment to strengthening customer relationships across the UK. Paul Sawyer has been appointed as ASM for the East of England, covering Norfolk, Suff olk, Cambridgeshire and Essex. Paul brings an experienced sales and management background to the role, including 17 years in a branch management position with a key electrical wholesaler, and a history of leading successful sales territories and building strong client relationships.
Alistair Lishman has been appointed as ASM for the Lancashire and Merseyside regions. In his role, Alistair will be responsible for managing relationships with existing customers, promoting the Click Scolmore brand, and supporting the introduction and growth of new products across the area. Alistair spent six years spent with a
leading UK electrical wholesaler, including four years as a branch manager in the northwest region. He joins Click Scolmore from his most recent role as a technical sales engineer. Joining as ASM for West Yorkshire, James Loureiro brings with him 20 years of experience
South West entrepreneurs join forces to relaunch Swindon electrical suppliers
T
hree Wiltshire-based entrepreneurs – Rob Appleby, Cameron Carash and Andy Young have each taken a third share of Swindon electrical wholesale store, New Edition Electrical Supplies.
The company was previously called A&E Electrical Wholesalers, and had been operating for over ten years. Now under new management, it has undergone a complete rebrand. Cameron – whose other business, Hus & Home made the news last year for supplying Netfl ix with furniture for its production sets – joins co- directors Rob and Andy in running the business. Andy was previously the sole owner of the fi rm.
Each of the partners has diff erent experience across the electrical industry – from domestic work to large-scale commercial projects. Together, the trio has taken what was a long- standing setup and given it a new direction, with a real focus on customer service, smart stock choices and fl exibility.
New Edition Electrical Supplies will be completely independent, and stocked with some of the best-known brands in the industry. A new online store will be launching soon to make ordering even easier and allow both collection and delivery of thousands of products which the fi rm has in stock.
