he Young Professional of the Year award was awarded to Emily Crayston of Eaton, a Design Engineer who joined Eaton as an intern in 2016 while completing her studies at Northumbria University.
The Richard St Clair award is presented to the BEAMA member who has gone both above and beyond to give their all in the work they complete with their company and as part of the wider BEAMA family. This year the award was presented to John Felgate of Stiebel Eltron. John chairs two of BEAMA’s product groups and has been very instrumental in

helping to create and manage suitably differentiated campaigns and objectives. Finally, the Long Service Award was won by John Austin of ABB. Unfortunately, John passed away on the 20 of September this year, John was Global Business Director for ABB, and had been in the industry for 51 years, and a staunch supporter of BEAMA and UK manufacturing. His tireless efforts to grow the industry and work together with other BEAMA representatives was commendable and on a level very rarely seen. He was a great asset to ABB and BEAMA, and a deserving winner of the Long Service Award.
GreenBrook Electrical appoints new managing director

reenBrook Electrical is delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Ratcliffe to the position of managing director. Peter joined GreenBrook in 2012 and has been leading the sales operation and driving the business forward during that time. Peter is a well-respected figure in our industry and has a wealth of knowledge of our sector. In a statement, GreenBrook stated: “[Peter’s] passion to grow the business will have a positive reflection on us all and we are excited to see how Peter shapes the future for our company.”
