EW Awards

Wiska UK Ltd won Best New Product. Marketing manager Elliott Rothon said: “The EW Awards represent excellence within our industry, it’s an incredible honour to win one. Everyone at WISKA is thrilled to have won Best New Product for our MP One gel, we would like to thank everyone that voted for us as well as our customers, suppliers and employees.”

The award for Best Overall Brand went to Marshall-Tufflex. Managing director Jon Chamberlain said: “We are delighted to receive this award. For our efforts to be recognised by the electrical industry, particularly in our 80th year, is the icing on the cake and a great achievement. Thank you to everyone across the industry who voted for us and to Electrical Wholesaler Magazine for hosting a fantastic event.”

The award for Best Lighting Brand was won by Ansell Lighting. Mike Talbot, sales director, said: “We are very proud to have been named Best Lighting Brand by Electrical Wholesaler magazine. Our category contained some stiff competition, so we were delighted to walk away with this wonderful recognition of our hardworking team.”

The award for Best Customer Service: Brand went to Aico, for the second year running.

The trophy for Best Wholesaler Website was taken home by Alert Electrical. Kevin Shaw, operations director, said: “The EW Awards event was a brilliant day, plenty of networking and we even had time to do some extra deals on the day with certain suppliers. We were totally over the moon that we had won as we knew that we were up against some stiff competition, but managed to come out on top with the great support that we have received from our supply chain and customer base.”

Wholesaler of the Year (26+ branches) was won by CEF. Commercial director Andrew Moseley said: “Winning this award for the second- year running is a real endorsement of the journey that CEF is on to become the UK’s leading multi- channel distributor. Thank you to the customers who voted for us, and who continue to choose CEF. It was wonderful that some of the team were able to attend the award ceremony and celebrate with the winners in other categories.”

Datateam Business Media would like to heartily congratulate all winners and extend our thanks to everyone who showed their support to the industry by attending this year’s Electrical Wholesaler Awards. We hope to see you all again next year!
