PIKOLINOS

In conversation with… INTERVIEW

Spanish footwear brand, Pikolinos, prides itself on its comfortable yet stylish shoes for men and women. But behind the scenes its efforts and commitment to be more sustainable are driving the brand forward and closer to a more conscious customer base worldwide. Tamara Boza chats to Footwear Today.

P

ikolinos was founded in 1984 in Spain by Juan Perán and Rosario Bazán. Surrounding themselves with a team that shared their dream and their passion for craftsmanship, they began their project to become a world renowned brand with a firm commitment to lead the comfort fashion sector and to make their mark all over the world. The couple’s three children, Rosana, Juanma and Carolina, grew up during the evolution of the company, being taught the value of hard work, dedication and striving for excellence along the way. Today, Juanma heads up the Pikolinos Group, in charge of product, sales and digital transformation. Rosana, Vice President of the company, coordinates the production and logistics centres, administration and operations. And Carolina is in charge of the company’s brands as the Pikolinos Group Brand Manager.
