remonte looks to Hollywood for its next international campaign

emonte has brought international female celebrity power on board for its new advertising campaign; Hollywood actress, Elizabeth Hurley, will be the face of the international ‘Great Women Wear Great Shoes’ campaign, which launches in AW24/25 and will be played out in over 10 countries for two seasons.

Liz Hurley is one of the most famous British actresses and fashion icons in the world today. Her global popularity, as well as her pronounced fashion awareness, will contribute towards a wide-reaching campaign that is intended to inspire retailers and consumers alike, remonte said. Eight exclusive looks were selected for the campaign, which

the actress presents in a film-like manner in the advertising motifs. The campaign will be played out in a variety of channels relevant to the target group: large-scale advertisements in print magazines, advertising online and via social media, plus TV commercials. In addition, advertising materials at the point of sale and digital advertising layouts, provided by

remonte, will also ensure maximum presence in stores.

Pikolinos Group kicks off 2024 with great strides in sustainability T

he Pikolinos Group has announced that it finished the 2022-23 fiscal year with record turnover of 138 million. With business volume up 29 per cent from the previous year, the group set an all-time high in turnover in the first year managed entirely by the executive team – made up of the three children of company founder Juan Perán.

Led by Juan Manuel, Rosana and Carolina Perán, the Pikolinos Group turnover was fuelled mainly by sales at the Pikolinos brand (which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year), totalling over Ð126 million, with Spain, the United States, Europe, Latin America and China the main markets in terms of volume.

“We continue moving forward with our Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility Plan, and every year we hit new milestones that bring the group’s companies closer to our goal of improving sustainability,” said Juan Manuel. “We’re kicking off 2024 having made great strides both at our production centres and on a corporate level – which we couldn't be happier out.” The parent company Pikolinos Intercontinental received the CORRESPONSABLES award from Fundación Corresponsables, recognising its best practices in social responsibility, sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals. The award was for the Product life cycle analysis project that calculates the environment impact of the two brands – Pikolinos

As well as this, Pikokaizen, one of the group’s production centres in Spain, has received several certifications that consolidate the group’s commitment to

sustainability. One of the most important is the Amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) audit, which it passed with the highest marks. It is one of the main social auditing protocols in the world.
