lectrical equipment containing wireless connectivity, such as
Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, placed on the European market from 13 June 2017 must comply with the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU. This includes products that were previously approved under the previous R&TTE Directive, which has now been fully replaced by the Radio Equipment Directive. In response to this, RN Electronics can offer
its expertise to ensure compliance with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED). This includes testing to harmonised RED standards and draft standards to demonstrate efficient use of the radio spectrum and avoidance of interference with other systems. The company can also provide gap analysis for products that were tested under the R&TTE Directive to determine any new testing requirements. RN Electronics is recognised as a Conformity
Assessment Body (CAB) by the FCC in USA. The test laboratory is accredited by the FCC to
perform compliance testing on equipment subject to Declaration of Conformity (DOC) under Parts 15B and 18 of the FCC’s rules. The company’s engineers have significant
expertise in wireless product testing, including RF design trouble-shooting, certifications and Antenna testing. They can also provide basic safety assessments for electronic products. RN Electronics is a UKAS accredited EMC &
