A new online tool that allows users to select and download industry product compliance documents, including IPC Class C, IPC Class D and comprehensive Product Compliance Declarations, together with EU RoHS, REACH SVHC and Low-Halogen Statements for multiple products has been added by Molex to its existing web-based product environmental and regulatory online information. “Co-developers and customers can now quickly generate industry and environmental compliance


documents they need, without having to submit an email request or endure lengthy wait times for documents. The new tool reduces the turnaround times of the related document requests from several days-weeks to an average of five minutes per request,” says Haim Eliyahu, global product compliance manager at Molex. The company claims its goal is to be the first connector manufacturer to provide instant online access to


industry environmental compliance documents for all its products. An information management system with detailed product composition data enables the company to better manage and verify product compliance. The new online tool makes that data more readily accessible. Users may enter any Molex product number(s) into the tool, select the desired industry document, and


obtain all the requested information into their email account within minutes. The tool features an easy-to-use interface with the option to receive industry compliance documents in XML and PDF formats. The tool also provides each user with an Excel summary report for each request, containing the list of requested products, documents, and their related statuses.
