hen it comes to the management and calibration of measurement
equipment and instrumentation specialist calibration service provider, Trescal offers a very extensive range of solutions. In addition to the standard technical services of equipment verification, calibration and repair, the company provides expertise associated with the specification and acquisition of measurement systems, personalised and computerised solutions for asset management, training, and technical and metrological support. Trescal offers dedicated teams, proficient

Every year, the group carries out more than 2,000,000 operations, including 35,000 repairs on 50,000 different types of instruments in sectors of activity such as Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Naval and Rail Construction, Energy, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Telecoms, Aeronautics, Space, Manufacturing “…” Trescal UK hold the largest number of
UKAS accreditations and the broadest service capacity from one of their six dedicated laboratories and 20 satellites, including its latest onsite accreditation for onsite pipette calibration. Trescal UK has been accredited out of its Scotland Laboratory for some time, however the company has expanded its capabilities to include onsite pipette calibration after taking on a new contract from a major Pharmaceutical company within the last year, allowing them to support this client. Trescal Stevenage were the driving force behind this most recent accreditation and are holding an Open Day on 18 October 2017. This UKAS accredited laboratory is an
industry leading facility, providing customers with access to a breadth of skills and accreditations including Electrical, RF &

Microwave, Mechanical/Dimensional, and its latest pipette calibration offering. The Stevenage site also coordinates and manages asset management on behalf of some of its key customers. There will be demonstrations taking place
throughout the guided tour, giving attendees the opportunity to see first-hand the calibration solutions on offer. For those visitors from the pharmaceutical industry, there will also be live demonstrations at an example pipette station, following the UKAS accreditation of the Stevenage facility’s earlier this year. In many laboratory environments, pipettes
are in constant use which can result in a multitude of problems such as corrosion and contamination. While it is important to regularly check and service pipettes, removing and sending them off-site can be difficult for many, due to their heavy reliance on the equipment. Instead, with Trescal’s onsite calibration capabilities, an engineer from the Stevenage laboratory can visit customers and calibrate the pipettes on-site, significantly reducing production downtime and disruption.
