These enable efficient and time-saving
configuration, operation monitoring and remote control. To achieve this, the devices provide a wide range power supply and application data, such as voltage and current characteristics on the input and output side. The power supplies are connected directly to an EtherCAT controller. Based on the power supply data, machine
manufacturers and operators can optimise their machines in terms of efficiency and productivity. The power supply data is particularly
useful in real-time control loops. Based on the live data, drives or other energy-intensive consumers can be controlled optimally to keep the dynamic power demand within the capabilities of the power supply system. The CP10.241-ETC, CP20.241-ETC (both 24 V)
and CP20.481-ETC (48 V) with EtherCAT interface offer efficiency of more than 95%, maximum reliability and lifetime, 20% extra power at temperatures up to 45˚C and ease of installation.
The CCP550 units are suitable for medical
devices including ventilators, patient monitors, imaging systems and laboratory equipment. Industrial applications include test equipment, industrial printing, UV curing, factory automation, IoT equipment, etc. There are six different single rail outputs covering 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 36V and 48VDC. All units
excluding the 15V model include a 12V, 0.5A fan output, and a 5V/2A standby output and remote on/off capability are offered as an option. The double-decker
aluminium substrate baseplate construction, conduction-cooled power magnetics, and high efficiency zero voltage switching (ZVS) topology, combine to ensure high levels of efficiency and thermal performance.
The ePanda eDrive’s permanent magnet synchronous motor maximises propel systemefficiency,
reducing battery consumption and thereby extending machine runtime. It offers peak efficiency of 94%, with system efficiency 17% to 31% higher than AC systems at various speeds. Ingress protection ratings of IP67 (motor) and IP65 (controller) make it suitable for extreme environments. According to the company, the eDrive is said to deliver a smoother, easier driving experience for operators.
