components, announces the availability of Rack Safety Plus from nVent. The 19” 3U power distribution unit supplies AC mains power and 24 V DC power to electrical or electronic devices as a central power switch with an emergency stop function with the safety relay meeting the requirements of EN 60947-5-1 and EN 60204-1 in applications with E-STOP push buttons. nVent’s Rack Safety Plus is ideal
for 19” test benches in areas such as test and inspection equipment, systems and control monitoring, prototype test and development, real-time simulation, high-current and high-voltage power units, EV powertrain test, hardware-in-the-loop test, load simulator for electric vehicle, battery equipment test cabinet, power test equipment and more. Standard features include 19” 3U
aluminium subrack, main switch, mains fuses, circuit breaker panel, emergency stop system, status LEDs for phase presence and emergency stop and on/off switch for switched outputs. Based on a modular concept 300,000
different modification options are available to users who can choose a standard configuration, or quickly and easily create their own configuration from predefined components. These include selection of the power input, power output and additional features such as a surge arrester or EMC filter based on system infrastructure.
