M&E WEEK/DESIGN ENGINEERING EXPO EXHIBITION PREVIEW

OMRON SHOWS SENSOR SOluTIONS fOR AuTOMATION AT M&E WEEK 2022 a modular sorting and diverting solution

Omron Electronic Components Europe will showcase solutions for smart home and building automation at M&E Week 2022 at the NEC in Birmingham. At stand L15, OMRON will exhibit the next generation of sensor solutions for industrial control and smart buildings.

Omron will be

offering live demos of the Omron D6T-32L Thermal Sensor which can reliably detect hot spots and other potential issues affecting electrical installations in a wide area across its 90˚ by 90˚ field of view. It also features a people

detection algorithm, which can reliably detect people and objects. These characteristics, combined with the ‘mechanical eye’ capabilities of the TOF sensor module, offer advanced possibilities in industrial automation, lighting and access control. Visitors to the stand will also find detailed information about Omron

digital pressure and environment sensors such as the D6F-PH Digital Pressure and 2JCIE Environment Sensors, which when combined with the D6T-32L, enhance the quality and efficiency of industrial systems through accurate sensing of air flow, temperature, humidity and human presence. The Omron team will be at available during the event to answer

questions about its expanding range of sensors, switches and relays. Omron

FATH has announced the arrival of its Flowsort automated diverting units: a new era of affordable, flexible sorting in conveying, handling and logistics. As the intralogistics industry continues to expand, one of the

challenges faced by conveyor line designers and systems integrators is where to pitch a plant design or upgrade in terms of its capacity. Overly ambitious predictions can cost lots of money with valuable equipment purchased, installed and maintained whether it is used or not; and overly cautious planning can overwhelm a rapidly growing business at a critically early point in its growth. But with the arrival of the Flowsort products, FATH can help customers solve the dilemma by offering a new solution which is affordable, simple to install and set up, and can grow easily as a business expands. Flowsort is a modular sorting and diverting product that has

been designed from the outset to provide users in the intralogistics business with that most elusive combination of advantages – the benefits of speed, low investment cost, low running costs and scaleability. Flowsort helps to eradicate second guessing growth rates by allowing users to purchase and install additional conveying and diverting capacity only when they actually need it. In addition, Flowsort installation is swift and straightforward.
