oneham and Turner are to exhibit at the Design Engineering Expo, part of Manufacturing and Engineering week 2022. Stand K34 will be devoted to the Koenig
Expander plug. During 2022, a demo drive will be taking place to give customers the chance of experiencing first-hand the efficiency and repeatability of installing the Koenig plug. As well as a zero defect, 100% inspected component ensuring quality and reliability in the field, the Koenig Plug leads the way in rapid, repeatable installation. The stand will be part of this drive, allowing interactive installation of the plug into a take-away mini two speed electric gear workpiece, demonstrating to design and production engineers the whole life value and viability of the Expander. The simplicity of installation and performance
in application are the vital design characteristics of the Koenig Expander plug. Trusted across the globe with five billion parts in the field, exhibiting zero defects and leaks, the Expander can be found in hydraulic, powertrain and drivetrain applications. Permanent metal-to-metal sealing of auxiliary holes from 3mm to 22mm. A one- piece, mechanical design, the Koenig Expander is
machining, tapping or reaming, providing significant savings in labour and production process costs, while also removing the risk of contamination from metal chips or debris. Furthermore, the design does not require additional sealant or adhesive compounds, which further eliminates contamination risk and waste.
