The Combi Case range of enclosures consist of two extrusions that fit together to form the enclosure. This will allow for the top to be removed to gain access to the electronics with the end plates in place. The range has been designed
to fit a 100mm wide PCB and comes in three different height options; 30mm, 44mm and 58mm. The units are supplied in standard stock lengths of 80mm, 160mm and 220mm in both pre-anodised silver and black. End plates and screws are supplied as part of the kit. Customisation options include:
• Cutting the extrusion to a custom length • Anodising – popular colours include red, blue, green and gunmetal grey. • Cut-outs in the extrusion or the end plates. • Artwork can be either full colour digital print or laser etched. • Oversized or bent end plates for surface mounting. • Pemserts for grounding posts, stand-offs or threaded bushes. Hammond Electronics’ 1552 hand-held enclosures are available in six sizes. The stylish IP54 flame-retardant ABS units feature an ergonomic design that fits comfortably into the hand, enabling it to be used for long periods in applications such as a machine controller or an electric hoist control. An optional wall mounted holder allows the unit to be stored in a convenient location when not in use. All sizes are 50mm wide and either
22mm or 30mm deep, available in lengths of 70mm, 110mm and 150mm. The 22mm deep enclosures are a rounded rectangular shape and the 30mm deep ones taper from 50mm at the lid to 38mm at the base for a more comfortable fit
in the hand. There are PCB mounting bosses in the top and the 30mm deep unit has an additional set of mounting bosses in the base. There are also two removable end panels for easy modification and for wired applications, an end panel with a rubberised cord protector and a strain relief bracket is optionally available. Available in black or grey with a satin texture finish, a recess for a membrane keyboard or display is provided in the top face.
