ne of my final visits ahead of retirement (sadly, this is my last issue of BSEE) was to the National Space Centre in Leicester, for the launch of Potterton Commercial’s aptly named new range of compact condensing boilers – Sirius three. Great marketing, guys!

It’s the final countdown – to infinity and beyond! O

These energy efficient boilers are suitable for large buildings such as schools, hotels, nursing homes, office blocks and leisure facilities. Sirius three offers compact power across its 15 wall-hung and floor-standing appliances, offering outputs of 50-250kW and up to 1MW in cascade. Institute (FMI) is delivering pressure and humidity measuring devices based on Vaisala's technology to NASA's Mars 2020 Rover. NASA's next mission to Mars will take Vaisala's newest and most advanced pressure and humidity sensors, which have never been used on Mars terrain before. Exciting stuff.

As I say ‘roger, over and out’ after 45 years as a journalist, I must say that my years on BSEE have been a blast. Thank you to the galaxy of building services’ professionals who have supported

and educated me in my role and a special thanks to the companies who advertise in BSEE. We couldn’t do it without you. And, finally, my thanks to the great team at BSEE.

For the last time from me – enjoy this month’s issue.
