Meeting EN 50090-4-3, the European standard for Home and Building Electronic Systems means that KNX successfully blocks hacker attacks on the digital infrastructure of networked buildings. This minimises the risk of digital break-ins. KNX also meets AES128, the highest specification for the encryption of electronic data established by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in 2001 and now used throughout the world. It effectively prevents attacks on the digital infrastructure of buildings to achieve the highest level of data protection. This Autumn, KNX Groups around the world are proactively taking the security message to building owners and giving them the information they need to beat cybercrime.
