measures signal strength for 2G, 3G and LTE networks, either individually or simultaneously and does not require a SIM to carry out cellular surveys. Detailed and timestamped logs of cellular signal strengths can be downloaded as required via the device’s builtin USB port for full analysis in standard spreadsheet

Improve reliability of M2M and IoT systems with accurate cellular signal strength surveys using new SNYPER

or graphical HTML format. The multisurvey results (available in different languages) can then be broken down by base station, MNO and network level. By improving decision making, the SNYPERLTE Graphyte means users can act quickly, saving them time and money, and survey a greater number of sites faster than was previously possible. By ensuring the best MNO is chosen at each location, M2M systems

reenBrook are delighted to present their new range of LED Fire Rated Downlights – The Vela Range – which consists of five different

options. The Vela Compact range – this is a super low profile fitting that you are able to place in shallow ceiling voids and place the insulation directly over the fitting. This fitting has been independently thermally tested by the LIA and is a contractor favourite. Next, we have launched the Vela Compact PRO – again a shallow fitting but with a neatly styled prismatic bezel and offering a quick connect driver with loopin and loopout connections. Next in the range is the V7 – a flicker free, highly

efficient fitting offering fixed, tilt and antiglare options. This model too offers a quick connect driver for improved installer satisfaction. Next we offer the sleek, modern Vela Advance – a 9W super stylish fitting that has been used in many bluechip projects – which again boasts a fixed, tilt and antiglare option and finally we are launching the new Vela Switch – a colour changing downlight that can be switched from 3,000k to 4,000k. All the Vela range are tested to ensure they are

suitably fire rated for use in 30, 60 & 90 minute ceilings and all conform to EN 60598 and to Building Regulations Part B, C, E & L. For further information please see our new brochure.

alternative to the complexities that a fully capable BMS can bring with it. What makes the SYX66x range exceptional is the combination of ease of use with flexibility. The controllers are very easy to setup and are adaptable to manage almost any simple plantroom. Guided by simple setup options for the system (boiler, heating, HWS etc) the controller is directly customised for the building it is installed in. With a diecast aluminium heat sink and attachments, this modular design allows for many interior decors. Attachments include fixed, adjustable, adjustable gloss, square regressed gloss as well as circular and square regressed low glare. Palladium utilises

Furthermore, the SYX66x range can be integrated into larger supervised systems if required. The SYX66x is a simple to use heating control system, suitable for facilities such as schools, clinics, offices, and assisted living facilities. The controller in particular helps schools improve performance by monitoring its optimisation results. If there is an issue with the heating it will let you know. No specialist tools or software is needed. The SYX66x uses simple

terminology that is easy to understand. It can be managed locally via its own interface, from a remote computer/touch screen, or if WiFi is available, from a smart device such as a phone or tablet. he Grundfos for Engineers hub has been specifically developed to keep you, our engineering partners, upto

date with the latest developments in the industry, as well as briefed on the wider subject of energy efficient advanced pump technology and fully integrated pump systems. The range of topics discussed is broad

and covers areas such as heating systems, boiler feed it also looks at the benefits of a total systems approach. Sensors are also in the spotlight as a topic as is the fact that, through differential pressure, they can help reduce costs. This means there will be something just for you whether you are an engineer working within commercial building services, process industry applications or in water supply and/or treatment industries.

In addition to these interesting insights

there are also a range of technical White Papers, case stories, engineering tools and access to presentations by acknowledged industry experts, that will all help to keep you well informed. This information is only a click away so check it out for yourself by visiting:

aving rarely been out of the news,

Mosul is now attempting to rebuild itself after suffering many years of constant bombardment and shelling. This, the second largest city in Iraq, saw some of the most violent clashes during the recent conflict that left this area virtually without any infrastructure or access to basic resources. To support the demands for

water, Grundfos Pumps have been working with the United Nations Development Program – UNDP  to provide the pump solutions for half of the 3 million citizens of this city, to regain a stable and uninterrupted water supply. Working to a very tight deadline, Grundfos provided a total of 50 pumps that included 12 submersible 400kW pumps

that are being used to support a river intake pumping station as well as 12 equally large splitcase pumps that are part of a high lift pumping station. Water is one commodity that is

frequently taken for granted until the supply is interrupted. Being able to reestablish a reliable water supply to Mosul is going a long way to giving this city back a sense of normality. For more information on the wide range of applications that Grundfos can support visit:

arm air, radiant and heating products are now affected by

European Regulations. Warm air heaters are subject

to Lot 21 of the directive and radiant heaters Lot 20. Minimum efficiencies for warm air is now 72% and radiant heaters is now 74%. Crucially, these minimum criteria are applicable for both new installations and when replacing existing products. As a result, customers can be assured that the heating equipment they are purchasing is highly energy efficient and emissions of harmful environmental pollutants are constrained. Our ErP compliant range includes the highly efficient RHeco series of energy saving condensing gas red unit heaters, which has been ErP compliant for years. The RHeco range provides the

highest efficiency levels and substantially reduced CO2 & NOx emissions (under 25ppm).

The units exceed the

requirements of current Building Regulations L2, with thermal efficiencies up to 109% to provide exceptional levels of seasonal efficiency. Also the extremely low NOx modulating premix burner enables BREEAM points to claimed (when applicable). For more information please email erp@nortek.com or visit:
