ON SENSE, a global leader in advanced gas detection instrumentation and PID technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrian Sharman as Research & Development Director, further strengthening its leadership team as the business continues to invest in innovation, product development and international growth. This appointment spans both ION Science and ION SENSE, reinforcing a unified strategy across the group’s gas detection and sensing technology brands Adrian brings extensive leadership experience in research and development, with a strong track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, accelerating innovation and guiding the development of commercially successful technologies. In his new role, he will lead ION SENSE’s R&D function, driving the development of next-generation products and supporting the company’s long-term strategic ambitions. He will work closely with the Board, including Mike Hawes,
Managing Director, Jason Evans, Commercial Director, Steve Newcomb, Operations Director, and Nicola Howard, Group Finance Director, to help shape the next phase of ION Science’s innovation strategy and product roadmap. Mike Hawes, Managing Director of ION Science, commented:
