CHOICE OF CANTING OPTIONS FOR METCASE’S INSTRUMET 19”/10.5” RACK ENCLOSURES M

ETCASE’s INSTRUMET 19”/10.5” aluminium enclosures now offer a choice of canting options – tilt feet or a tilt-swivel carry handle – for ergonomic viewing and

operation. Smart design enables these desktop/portable instrument enclosures to deliver

elegant aesthetics, robust construction and easy customisation at a competitive price. Versatile INSTRUMET accepts standard 3U subracks, chassis and front panels,

making it ideal for test and measurement equipment, networking and communications, industrial computers, sound/studio systems and laboratory instrumentation. INSTRUMET comprises a fabricated aluminium main body with diecast aluminium

bezels at front and rear. Removing the bezels and U-shaped top allows easy access to the electronics inside. There are three M4 earthing studs. The enclosures come with subrack/chassis support rails and a ventilated rear panel

as standard. The base panel is also vented. Cases without the adjustable metal arm feature two ABS side handles. INSTRUMET is supplied fully assembled with four ABS non-slip tilt feet. Standard

sizes range from 157 x 303 x 350 mm to 157 x 516 x 450 mm. The standard colour scheme is light grey/window grey (RAL 7035/RAL 7040). Custom colours are available. Accessories for INSTRUMET include front panels and 19” mounting kits. METCASE can supply INSTRUMET fully customised. Services include custom widths and depths; custom front panels; CNC machining; fixings and

inserts; painting and finishing; photo-quality digital printing of legends, logos and graphics. For further information, view the METCASE website: https://www.metcase.co.uk/en/Metal-Enclosures/Instrumet-19-.htm

TITAN ENTERPRISES UNVEILS NEXT-GENERATION HYGIENIC OVAL GEAR FLOWMETERS

T

itan Enterprises has announced the release of a newly engineered design for its OG3 and OG4 oval gear flowmeter models. While delivering enhanced performance for

hygienic processing applications, these models still maintain the original dimensions of the previous oval gear products to allow interchangeability within customers’ existing systems.

Designed for use in industries where cleanliness, accuracy and reliability are

critical, the new OG3 and OG4 flowmeters feature an electropolished stainless- steel finish that provides a smooth, easy-to-clean surface suitable for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetics and personal care manufacturing environments. A key advancement in the redesign is the transition from a cast body construction

to a fully machined, engineered design. The precision-machined construction not only enhances mechanical strength but also supports the high levels of measurement accuracy and repeatability for which Titan’s oval gear flowmeters are recognised. “The redesigned OG3 and OG4 flowmeters reflect our commitment to continuous product advancement and responding to the evolving needs

of hygienic processing industries,” said Jeremy Thorne, Operations Manager at Titan Enterprises. “By moving to a fully machined design, we have achieved an advanced product that meets the cleanliness requirements of modern manufacturing environments.” The new OG flowmeter design with Hall effect detection, also benefits from an upgraded circuit board with added protection from mis-wiring or

electrical surges, as well as offering both NPN and PNP outputs as standard (up to 100°C max). The OG3 and OG4 flowmeters provide precise volumetric measurement of liquids across a wide viscosity range. Their robust construction and

compact footprint make them suitable for both OEM integration and end-user installations where dependable flow measurement is essential. The new models strengthen Titan Enterprises’ portfolio of high-performance flow measurement solutions and provide customers with a combination of hygienic design, enhanced durability and proven oval gear technology. The redesigned OG3 and OG4 hygienic flowmeters are available now.
