VEGA CELEBRATED FOR EXCELLENCE IN THE INSTRUMENTATION AND ELECTRONICS AWARDS 2025
W
e’re excited to share that VEGA UK has been named finalists in all four categories entered in this year’s Instrumentation
and Electronics Awards. We want to thank everyone who took the time to cast their vote for VEGA! From customer support to radar and flow solutions, these nominations reflect our role in helping UK industries tackle real-world challenges with smart, compliant instrumentation. We are finalists in the following categories:
1) BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE At VEGA, customer service is more than solving problems — it’s about building long-term partnerships. Whether it’s our Sales Engineers shaping practical, hands-on solutions, or Service Engineers jumping in on-site to resolve urgent issues, we focus on trust, outcomes and making things easier for our customers.
At VEGA, great service is just part of who we are. Guided by curiosity, we support customers through technical advice, on-site support and by just being a friendly voice on the phone. With humanity, connectivity and simplicity at the heart of everything we do, we make every interaction meaningful — making VEGA truly a home of values.
2) FLOW, LEVEL AND CONTROL PRODUCT OF THE YEAR
The VEGAMET 862 offers a smart, compact solution for differential and totalised flow and removes the need for costly, complex infrastructure. It’s especially useful where recycled washwater distorts readings — a common challenge now resolved with a single controller.
3) SENSOR PRODUCT OF THE YEAR The VEGAPULS Basic Radar Level Sensor Range is the only radar solution in the UK to carry MCERTS Class 1, WRAS, and ATEX Ex ia certifications. This unique combination of certifications, plus performance across harsh environments and all water applications, is why the VEGAPULS Basic Range is already widely used, and continuing to grow as a trusted choice in the UK water industry and beyond.
4) INDUSTRY PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR: MARK MCPHAIL (SENIOR SALES ENGINEER, NORTH SCOTLAND) Mark brings a unique blend of technical expertise and charisma that’s hard to miss. He’s a standout engineer who consistently goes above and beyond—supporting customers across northern Scotland with deep technical insight and a strong work ethic, earning him the trust of operators and engineers in some of the UK’s most
demanding industrial environments. He leads by example, with a clear focus on outcomes, service, and building trust. Read more about our award submissions on
our website! We look forward to celebrating these at the event.
