Adam Davison and David Kerr Signs Express


Signs Express is delighted to introduce two new members of staff to their team at head offi ce. They have joined the management team to strengthen the company’s central franchisee support system. Adam Davison is taking up the role of northern regional manager and David Kerr is fi lling the role of national sales manager. As regional manager, Adam will support the


northern territories by focusing on the everyday running of each individual business and driving efforts to secure new opportunities. Joining the Signs Express team from another franchise, Cartridge World, where he worked for more than six years before becoming their system development manager, Adam is experienced in helping businesses to reach their full potential. He is also well versed in the challenges faced by franchisees and is a British Franchise Association QFP. National sales manager David has dedicated his career to the sign-making industry and he collaborated with a Signs Express centre during his previous role. Switching from his position at Baillie Signs in Edinburgh, where he was responsible for the complete management of signage rollout programmes, David’s remit at Signs Express is to support the network by helping to grow both national and regional sales. Craig Brown, managing director of the Signs


Express franchise, elaborated on the strategies behind these developments: “We are always looking for ways to meet the shifting needs of our franchisees as well as the demands of our marketplace. As a result, these new additions to our team mean that we are better positioned to aid our franchisees in the day-to-day running of their businesses.”

Karen Pennington and Bex Bamber Business Doctors


Business Doctors has made several new appointments at its headquarters to support the company’s continuing growth. The new recruits include Karen Pennington, who has been appointed as franchise fi eld support manager, and Rebecca Bamber, joining the company as fi nance manager. Karen’s role will see her providing hands-on guidance, mentoring and action planning to help Business Doctors franchisees develop their own business. She has over 20 years’ experience in franchising, both as a franchisee and in fi eld support for another nationwide franchisor. She said: “My role at Business Doctors is


to provide franchisees with all the support they need to get their own businesses up and running and then staying on track to ensure their long-term success. That means meeting regularly with franchisees to review where the business is going, agreeing goals and outcomes and signposting to solutions and other areas of support.” Rebecca’s previous employment includes


Prosper Financial Services Ltd and, more recently, CCA Ltd, where Bex was responsible for growing an online brand. Rebecca was on the senior management team and was responsible for implementing new strategies. Rebecca commented: “After working on an online brand for so many years, I am now looking forward to developing relationships and supporting the growing Business Doctor network.”
