The country also benefits from its location close to the UK, Germany and the other Nordic countries and offers a well-developed infrastructure system granting easy and fast access internationally as well as domestically. Additionally, the country has one of the world’s largest percentages of the population with access to and use of the internet. Most of the correspondence with public authorities is carried out online or via email, making interaction easily accessible and the establishing and operation of a business in
Denmark fairly lenient and simple. In other words, the conditions for doing business in Denmark are favourable and businesses also enjoy the benefit of a favourable corporate tax rate (currently 23.5 per cent, which will be lowered to 22 per cent in 2016). From an overall perspective, the country’s business regulation is well developed and offers a great deal of flexibility in terms of structuring your business, establishing and operating a business and access and interaction with public authorities.
